Artlink believes that technology should expand opportunities for creativity, not replace it. Technology is most valuable when it helps people discover, connect with, and support one another. That belief has guided our work for more than a decade and continues to shape the evolution of Artinerary. Artinerary uses thoughtful technology, including AI-powered tools, to improve discovery, organization, accessibility, and connections across the platform.
For more than a decade, Artlink has viewed technology as essential infrastructure for Arizona's creative ecosystem, investing in digital tools that expand access, strengthen connections, and support discovery. This work began with Phoenix Urban Guide (PUG) in 2015, followed by ArtistsAZ in 2019 in response to artists seeking greater statewide visibility and connection. Artinerary builds on that foundation, continuing Artlink's efforts to use technology to better connect Arizona communities to creators, places, and experiences.

2015
Launched Phoenix Urban Guide (PUG), a digital resource for discovering arts, culture, events, and creative destinations throughout the Phoenix region.
2019
Launched ArtistsAZ, in response to artists requesting greater statewide visibility and connection — expanding artist discovery for the public through searchable profiles and a dedicated platform highlighting Arizona's creative talent.
2023
Launched the beta version of Artinerary, introducing a new platform designed to connect creators, places, and experiences while gathering community feedback to guide its development.
2025
Expanded the platform with the launch of Artinerary.com and the Artinerary app, making it easier to discover creators, explore creative destinations, find events and experiences, and connect with Arizona's creative community.
2026
Launched the next evolution of Artinerary, expanding the platform with enhanced discovery, connected experiences, improved tools, and a growing digital network that brings Arizona's creativity into view.
AI is used to support the platform experience, not to replace human creativity. Artinerary does not use AI to generate artistic work. Instead, AI helps organize information, strengthen connections, improve search and discovery, and make Arizona's creative ecosystem more accessible.
To help preserve the integrity of the platform, Artinerary provides a way for users to flag artwork they believe may have been generated using AI.
