Artinerary is built for real artists. This policy explains how AI supports the platform and how information is handled.
Every piece of artwork, photograph, and creative work featured on Artinerary is made by a real human artist. We do not use AI to generate, alter, or replace the art showcased on our platform. The creativity you see here comes from the talented artists, makers, and performers who make Arizona's creative community so vibrant.
We believe technology should support artists — never replace them.
While we never use AI to create art, we do use it behind the scenes to help you discover and connect with Arizona's creative community. Here's how:
Based on your interests, past events, and favorite artists, we use AI to surface events, galleries, and experiences you're most likely to enjoy. The more you explore, the better your recommendations become.
Our AI-powered search understands what you mean, not just what you type. Ask something like “live music near downtown this weekend” and we'll find relevant results — even if those exact words don't appear in any listing.
Planning an art crawl or a day of gallery hopping? Our Artinerary builder uses AI to help you create personalized routes based on your interests, location, and schedule.
When artists and organizers create listings, AI can help draft or polish event descriptions — but the final content is always reviewed and published by the creator. The human voice stays front and center.
When you choose an AI-powered feature, Artinerary sends only the information needed to complete that request through OpenRouter, Inc. (our AI gateway) to OpenAI's GPT models for processing. Depending on the feature, that may include details you provided — such as the search or chat text you type, interests, dates and search area for itinerary planning, or event information and images you submit as a creator. Your name, email address, and account identifiers are never included in these requests.
Artinerary does not sell your personal information and does not submit your content as a dataset for third-party AI model training. Information sent for a requested feature is used by Artinerary to generate that feature's response. Our providers may process request data under their own service and retention terms, so we limit what is sent to information needed for the request. For additional details, see our Privacy Policy.
