“In Our Own Words” Virtual Poetry Event

Resilient Roots Support Group for Parents Living with Brain Injury is hosting a virtual poetry event featuring the works of brain injury survivors and care partners from all walks of life. “In Our Own Words” brings the voices of survivors to the forefront as we use poetry to express our experiences, bringing advocacy, awareness and visibility to the world at large. This event is open to anyone who would like to attend. If you identify as an individual having experienced a brain injury of any kind (traumatic brain injury, stroke, prior drug use, domestic violence, etc.-this is a judgment-free zone!) or are a care partner to an individual living with a brain injury, please reach out to me (Cazoshay Marie) at resilientrootspwbi@gmail.com for more details and to get on the program to share.
