About This Event

For the second year, Tempe Artists Guild members will present a free Art Exhibition at the OneOhOne Gallery in Mesa in May 2024. The exhibit showcases original artwork by TAG members using oil, acrylic, pencil, pastel, mixed media, clay, bronze, and watercolor. Hours: ALL Fridays and Saturdays in May 11:00AM-2:00PM and Friday, May 3 – 5:00PM-7:00PM – Opening Reception Friday, May 10 – 5:00-9:00PM – Second Friday Art Walk Friday, May 31 – 5:00-7:00PM – Closing Reception

Art has been my calling and my sanctuary these last few years. My watercolor and acrylic paintings depict the everyday life, travel experiences, people and relationships. A former communication professional, I am now pursuing art full time. I am enjoying getting entrenched into the Arizona art scene and have recently been juried into shows at 9 the Gallery, Herberger Art Galleries and Shemer Art Center. I am primarily an abstract artist working in acrylic and mixed media. My paintings are an expression of the emotions I experience when observing nature and the world around me. My desire is to evoke a unique emotional response from the observer creating new connections in a ripple effect. While I have been drawing and painting for all of my adult life, it was in 2018 that I had the opportunity to focus much more time on my art practice. Since 2021, I have also ventured into digital art and surface design in an effort to make art accessible to a wider audience as I believe art can have amazing positive effects on people's lives. I currently work out of my studio in Chandler, AZ.
