The phrase "squaring the circle" originates from geometry, symbolizing the pursuit of the impossible. This idea resonates deeply with artists like Marlys Kubicek, who are driven by the challenge of reaching seemingly unattainable goals, fueling their relentless creativity. The circle, with its myriad meanings including “unity, infinity, perfection, timelessness, wholeness, the circle of life,” inspires Kubicek's latest body of work.
