PhxArt Educator Workshop // Picture This! Using Drama to Bring Art to Life

Join us in learning how to use drama techniques to help students connect to artwork. Educators will experience drama activities, from both the student and teacher perspective, and discuss how drama can be used as a tool to help students engage with curriculum on a deeper level. Activities include creating a soundscape inspired by a work of art, embodying the emotions it makes us feel, imagining ourselves as a character in the artwork, and using our bodies and imaginations to become sculptures.
