Join in with your art tools of choice or take an evening to get to know the process behind the work of fellow creatives! Fernando Cabrera Gonzalez will begin a painting this night that will evolve each day in the gallery until its ultimate reveal at the Closing Party. CLOSING PARTY March 29 from 6 to 9 PM Get ready for a spectacle! Wrap yourself in the energy of the night as we gather to celebrate the accomplishments of this beautiful exhibition by Fernando Cabrera Gonzalez. We'll have incredible artwork, great company, a lush spread and music to enjoy before we top off the night with a spectacular reveal of a finished painting that was conceived the night of Create Night and painted daily in the gallery by Fernando. A note from the artist: The year I regrettably gave up my Mexican citizenship and devoted my life to painting was the same year I met Tuki. In the midst of all uncertainty, he remained a constant. Looking back, his presence kept me sane and brought me hope until one day, just as he mysteriously came, he left. I never witnessed his birth nor his death, and through my paintings I decided to immortalize him as a messenger of hope. Bringing others the same faith he inspired in me, it is through him that I speak of everything my work is about: Faith, connection to nature, and identity. Tuki embodies the essence of my art and with this exhibition I want to give him a proper birth. Now witness the culmination of six years of devotion as Gonzalez formally presents himself, (the humble paint pusher) and spreads the message to you of his feathered muse.
