BlakTinx Dance Festival 10th Anniversary: Curtain Call

Celebrate 10 years of BlakTinx Dance Festival with Curtain Call, a two-night celebration of dance, culture and community at Third Street Theater at Phoenix Center for the Arts. Presented by Latina Dance Project, BlakTinx centers Black and Latinx choreographers and brings together artists from Phoenix and beyond to share contemporary dance works and stories through movement. Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 feature two completely different programs, giving audiences a different experience each night. Opening night also falls on First Friday, making BlakTinx a great stop during an evening of art, performance and downtown Phoenix activity. Taking place during Hispanic Heritage Month, Curtain Call celebrates the artists and community that have shaped BlakTinx over the past decade. This 10th anniversary marks a special milestone for the festival and its Phoenix dance community.
