About This Event
In this one-day workshop students will enjoy experimenting with and learning about Japanese Yupo paper, masking fluid and hi-flow acrylics. Students will use masking fluid pens to block out lines and shapes on Yupo paper. After masking is dry, students will be apply hi-flow acrylics to paper using a small spray bottle allows acrylics move and blend across the paper. Once the acrylics are dry the masking will be removed and reveal the designs created. With critique and discussion students will consider their compositions and add paint or darker values with a brush, or remove and edit with alcohol. Students will expand knowledge of materials and have fun creating experimental abstract artwork.
All supplies will be provided for an extra fee.
