Pavlo’s instrumental Mediterranean music speaks for itself. Over the span of his 20-year career, the internationally renowned and award-winning songwriter and performer has released 15 albums, including four PBS concert specials. (The last of which, Pavlo: Live in Santorini, aired in 2021.)
Born in Toronto to Greek parents, Pavlo has made a name for himself by offering a musical amalgam he calls “Mediterranean music”—a blend of Greek, flamenco, Latin, and Balkan flavors, wrapped in contemporary pop. His music has taken him around the world; along the way, he’s performed for King Charles III and other royalty and performed with artists such as José Feliciano, Jon Secada, Olivia Newton-John, and the Tenors.
