Hi, I’m Shannon Duncan (she/her), the artist behind Unfinished by Duncan (UBD). I’m a mom, an avid reader, a thrifter, an ally, a wife, and so much more. One thing doesn’t define me, much like art. UBD has become a creative outlet, a challenge, and a way for me to push outside my comfort zone as an artist while connecting with the community. I believe art should be accessible to everyone. Art in any form is a tool for expression, connection, and processing all the big feelings we sometimes don’t have the words for. My work reflects that; it’s emotional, imperfect, and a little weird sometimes. My art style is rooted in American Traditional tattoo art, mixed with Neo-Traditional influences and a love for the strange, the dark, and anything oddities. Life is strange, isn’t it? But so is art.
