SONAR AZ is a mixed-use performance and education space in Tempe dedicated to sound, visual, movement, and narrative arts. Our mission is to provide a home for experimental, non-traditional, and emerging forms of expression. SONAR hosts noise art, new and experimental instrumental music, interdisciplinary performance, movement-based classes and recitals, workshops, and other forms of creative work that often fall outside conventional arts venues. We support artists, educators, students, and audiences interested in exploration, collaboration, and the development of new ways to create, perform, and experience art.
