About

Selina Littler Bio Selina Littler is an artist who has utilized a variety of media over her artistic career, sometimes using traditional media such as watercolor, acrylics, pencil and charcoal in her two-dimensional work, and she has produced three-dimensional work using found objects and natural materials. Selina has also been involved in designing several public art enhancements around the state, and participated in collaborative public art projects in Arizona and Washington DC. Having grown up in rural Arizona, much of her work is deeply influenced by the desert environment. Her work has been exhibited regularly throughout southern Arizona, especially in the Tucson area. Selina earned her Master of Fine Art degree from the University of Arizona studying under notable teachers at the University including Bruce McGrew, who taught her about color; James Davis, who helped her to recognize her own strengths as a young artist; Bailey Doogan, who understood; and her own father, Charles Littler who taught her how not to be tardy (actually he was her most influential teacher). Thanks to these teachers, along with the support of family and friends, she has been able to develop into a mature and self-assured artist.
