About
Scott Allison is a Phoenix-based interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of nature, symbolism, and craftsmanship. Working across drawing, painting, mixed media, and paper construction, he creates richly detailed works inspired by forests, wildlife, folklore, and the quiet mysteries of the natural world. A graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, Allison has exhibited throughout Phoenix and has been featured in *Blue Canvas Magazine*, *Capuisa Magazine*, and *Artnois Magazine*. Since 2014, he has maintained an independent studio practice through Wanderlust Studio, creating original artwork while continuing to explore traditional craft techniques and contemporary mixed-media processes. His background in woodworking and traditional craft informs his approach to making, with an emphasis on natural materials, careful construction, and the handmade object. Through careful attention to detail and material, his work invites viewers to slow down, look closely, and discover moments of wonder within the familiar.
