Ri Lindegren
About
Ri Lindegren (she/her) is a dance and media artist, somatic facilitator, educator, and founder of Dances With Tech LLC, a company that supports artists in building digital confidence and documenting their creative work with clarity and care. With over a decade of experience filming live performance and teaching at the intersection of movement, media, and technology, Ri brings an embodied, story-driven approach to working both behind and in front of the camera. She holds an MFA in Dance and Interdisciplinary Digital Media and Performance from Arizona State University, where she served as Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance & Media and received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. Her work has been presented at Arizona State University and community venues across the Phoenix Metro area, the New York City Metro area, and across South Florida. She has received grants from the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture, the Arizona Commission on the Arts, and ASU Creative Constellation. Her greatest creative joys have been producing the Dance Film |deconstructed| Festival at the ASU MIX Center, the Feelings Playground Project, and the BodySleuth Project. Through Dances With Tech, Ri offers workshops, consulting, and media production that blend movement wisdom with practical tech tools: helping artists and educators feel more grounded, expressive, and confident on and off camera.
