Oré

About

Oré is a french street artist, currently based in Phoenix, Arizona. He began painting graffiti in 1989 in France. After spending extended periods in Mexico, Oré made Quetzalcóatl—the famous mythological feathered serpent—his emblem. His creations featuring Quetzalcóatl can be seen on street corners in cities around the world (Barcelona, Athens, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and more), making him one of the French street artists with the strongest international presence. Oré paints murals, drawing on a wide range of themes such as giant animals, social issues, prehistoric art, film history, Ancient Greece, pre-Columbian mythology, Japanese art, and Arabic calligraphy. His paintings on canvases have been exhibited in France, Japan, Greece, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Germany.
