Jo-Ann Lowney, painting and sculpting in Arizona since 1985, was awarded the Visual Art Fellowship in Two-Dimensional Media by the Arizona Commission on the Arts in 1995. In 1996, the commission awarded her an Artists Residency Grant for the mural; A History of Superstition Mountain. Her work is in the collection of the Scottsdale Museum for Contemporary Art, Nordstroms of Scottsdale, MacDonald*s Corporation offices worldwide, Universal Picture Studios and private and corporate collections in the U.S., Portugal, Germany, Israel, and Canada.
