Devany Dellis

Arizona -born and -based oil painter, Devany Dellis, has been honing her skills in the medium for the last five years. Though her work has always commented on social or political upheaval, she began allowing her studies in studio art and psychology to inform each other on a personal level. As a queer woman, her connection to her body and sexuality has always been strained, and has heard this feeling echoed throughout her community. She now utilizes stark and often graphic imagery to explore the relationship between people, their bodies, their government, and their gods.
