About
Ashton Hall is a multidisciplinary painter born in Wisconsin , she’s been painting murals and commissions in Arizona for 5 years. Utilizing her consistent passion to create, Arizona’s desert landscape inspired new advances in her work. Painting engaging environments, reflecting her personal perspectives and growth, she expresses herself through Acrylic, Oil, and Pastel mediums. Utilizing various mediums, she harnesses the range she needs to convey her messages, which are immediate and intuitive whether she’s working in impressionist or abstract techniques. Currently, Ms. Hall is exploring ways to engage the vibrant Arts & Culture scene in Arizona as well as continue exhibiting across the Midwest. Artist Statement I paint minimalistic impressions of the desert in Oil pastels for myself and the viewer, because art is my healing practice. My creative process begins with journaling and sketching—tools for capturing the fleeting thoughts and emotions that arise from everyday life. As an Artist, my work is a journey through memory and emotion, shaped by the echoes of my childhood and the evolving complexities of motherhood. Influenced by the raw, expressive strokes, I replicate my personal experiences and reflections into every stroke. The act of painting is my personal means of introspection and self soothing, and discovery.
