Alex Padilla is a traditional and digital portrait artist born in Arizona. Adopted by one of their grandparents at age nine, Alex has spent most of their life figuring out how things are put together. Their work is about creating a puzzle finding balance between realism and leaving behind reminders that the work was drawn. Every line is about figuring out how lines communicate with each other to end up with something that looks elegant and captures the essence of the subject.
