Lenay received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Art and Art Education training from Arizona State University. She currently works as a free-lance artist exhibiting her work both locally and nationally. Her abstract paintings and monotypes reflect her use of non-representational subject matter and automaticity to create an emotional experience for the viewer. Lenay has worked as a Visual Arts teacher at both the elementary and high school level for the past 20 years. She loves teaching art and strives to help her students become and remain creative thinkers. Lenay is an Arizona native and loves to draw, paint, and hike the mountains around her home in Prescott, Arizona.
