Phoenix based multimedia artist, Stacia Meconiates, has been focused on accessible interactive multimedia for the past several years. Originally a music composer and sound designer, Stacia shifted to focus more on interactive multimedia and accessibility in technology after a diagnosis with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Stacia's recent projects have resulted in stunning and profoundly inclusive works, born from the intersection of innovation with creative technologies and disability awareness. Through sensor-based interactivity, computer vision, audio-reactive visuals, 3D modeled designs, and more they craft immersive experiences that transcend physical limitations, offering enjoyment to individuals of all abilities. Stacia has had collaborations with organizations including Arizona State University, LightSwitch, and PhxForge.
