About

Liz Taylor, NCIDQ is an experiential designer, illustrator, and public artist with more than 25 years of practice at the intersection of design, story, and built environment. Her work explores belonging, language, and the quiet power of narrative to shape how people experience the spaces they move through. She founded Liz Taylor Creative to pursue that work with intention, building a practice where research, community, and craft inform every decision from concept through installation. Liz brings a research-driven rigor and a modernist, illustration-driven aesthetic to projects of every scale, from comprehensive wayfinding and graphics programs for major healthcare systems to site-responsive public artworks rooted in local history and community identity. She is experienced working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, collaborating closely with architects, clinical teams, civic partners, and community organizations to create environments that are visually grounded, narratively rich, and genuinely human. Her studio-led work runs alongside and informs her client practice, keeping the creative process alive to curiosity, experimentation, and the kind of thinking that only happens when there is no brief to answer to.
