About
Fifty-Four Years at the Easel For Janice Millane Wasmer, art is not just a profession; it is a daily discipline maintained for over 54 years. Since graduating with a degree in Art in 1976, Janice’s journey has evolved from the precise requirements of commercial illustration to a deeply personal exploration of the natural world. In her current studio practice, Janice focuses on the vibrant duality of wildlife. By placing hyper-realistic animal imagery against bold, abstract environments, She invites the viewer to see the subject not just as a figure, but as a living force of nature. This balance of control and chaos also extends to their serene landscapes and intimate commissioned portraits. Currently represented by the Kingman Center for the Arts Gallery, remains a prolific creator, constantly producing new works for collectors and seeking fresh opportunities for exhibition and representation.
