Suzanne has been an artist for as long as she can remember. It could be paper and pencil, clay, ink, or more tactile adventures, but creating was her favorite thing to do. She has no aversions to any medium that can be used to create art; however, she finds acrylic and canvas to be one of her favorite mediums. A Phoenix native, she grew up when Phoenix was a smaller town. As an adult, she decided to give up office work and travel for a summer/fall. This landed her in the western peninsula of Washington. She eventually moved to Portland where her entire idea of what was considered art and art medium expanded beyond what she had ever experienced. The art community was thick, and she created continually. Moving back to the desert has shifted her focus again, and she is exploring collage, assemblage, and hoping to find opportunities for mural work.
